These terms apply to all offers, quotations, registrations, orders and deliveries of services by Futurekind, unless We have expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Other parties' terms and conditions are not binding on Futurekind unless accepted by Us in writing. Where We process personal data, our Privacy Policy applies. Customers ordering a private programme are responsible for informing their participants about our Privacy Policy, including the fact that photos, video or audio may be recorded at events and used in our communication.

Futurekind provides its services to businesses and professionals, not to consumers. By registering, the customer confirms acting for professional purposes, either on behalf of a legal entity or as a professional natural person, and provides a company name and VAT number where requested.

Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of offer. All prices are per person and exclude VAT unless expressly stated otherwise. Early bird rates apply until their stated deadline and are never applied retroactively. Bank charges from international transfers are at the customer's expense.

Event registrations are payable in full at registration; access to an event requires full prior payment. Private programmes (in-company masterclasses, workshops, keynotes): 50% is invoiced at written confirmation, 50% at the start of the programme. Other invoices are payable within 30 days of invoice date. Any amount unpaid on the due date is automatically, and without prior notice, subject to interest of 1% per month (every started month counting as a full month) and fixed damages of 10% of the invoice amount, with a minimum of €65.

The content published on futurekind.be — including trend reports, cultural analysis, strategic frameworks, keynote materials and opinion pieces — represents the thinking and perspective of Futurekind and Kristel Vanderlinden at the time of publication.

Cultural intelligence and foresight work is by nature interpretive and forward-looking. While we apply rigorous research and strategic thinking to everything we publish, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for brands or organisations that act on our insights.

Governing Law

This site is operated from Belgium. These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising from the use of this site fall under the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.

01 · Registration & payment. A registration is final once payment has been received. Prices are per person and exclude 21% Belgian VAT, unless explicitly stated otherwise; VAT is itemised at checkout and on the invoice. An invoice is issued for every payment, for the amount actually paid (e.g. the early bird rate at the moment of booking). Provide your company name and VAT number at registration if you need a business invoice.

Early bird rates apply until their stated deadline and are never applied retroactively.

02 · Cancellation by the customer. Cancellations are valid only in writing (e-mail to hello@futurekind.be).
(a) Webinars and single events (Trend Raves, webinars): full refund up to 7 calendar days before the event; thereafter, and in case of no-show, no refund is due. Missing a live webinar is not grounds for a refund; the replay link is provided.
(b) Culture *Coded masterclass days: full refund up to 4 weeks before the relevant day; 50% of the price is due when cancelling between 4 weeks and 7 days before; 100% is due when cancelling within 7 days or in case of no-show.
(c) All open events: tickets are transferable — a replacement participant may be named at no cost up to the day before the event.
(d) Private programmes: once confirmed in writing, a private programme cannot be cancelled; invoiced and outstanding amounts remain due. In case of compelling unforeseen circumstances We are open to discussing rescheduling.

03 · Changes or cancellation by us. The programme, speakers, timing or venue may be adjusted where circumstances require; substantial changes are communicated as soon as possible and are not grounds for a refund. If Futurekind cancels an event, you choose between a full refund of the ticket price or a transfer to the next edition. In case of force majeure — including weather conditions that make sailing unsafe — the event may be moved to a new date or an equivalent (indoor) alternative; tickets remain valid, and if the new date doesn't work for you, you receive a refund. Our liability is in all cases limited to the ticket price paid; travel, accommodation or other costs are never reimbursed.

04 · On site & on the water. Participation is at your own risk. On boat events, the instructions of the captain and crew must be followed at all times. Futurekind is not liable for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings, nor for indirect or consequential damages, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

05 · Recordings & materials. Photos and video are made at our events and may be used for Futurekind's communication and promotion. If you prefer not to appear, let us know in writing at the start of the event. Hand-outs, toolkits, replays and other materials are for personal use only. Sharing, reselling or redistributing them is not permitted.

06 · Your data. We use your registration details to organise the event and to keep you informed about future Futurekind sessions. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our privacy policy for details.

07 · Applicable law. Belgian law applies to all registrations and events. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts competent for Futurekind's registered office. Questions about these terms? Mail kristel@futurekind.be — we're nicer than this page sounds.
